Drying
Instructions | Harvesting | Drying | Storing
If the herbs are dried the right way, there should be no change in color or shape. The drying should be done in the shade, in a well-ventilated area that’s dust free.
Flowers
Dry on newspaper for 3-14 days.
Leaves and plant parts
Dry on newspaper for 3-21 days.
Roots
Shake or rub off the dirt, remove hair roots and scrub the root clean. Chop it, and spread it over a plate. Dry it in the oven on low heat (50-60 C/122-140 F) for 2-6 hours until it’s become crisp. If you don’t want to use the oven, spread it on a newspaper. Then it’ll take approximately 14-21 days for it to dry.
