You can use the same technique for any odd number of strands (7, 9, 11, 13, 15 and so on).
10 strands/5 loops
You can use the same technique for any odd number of loops (7, 9, 11, 13, 15 and so on), but it gets harder after 9 since you only have ten fingers.
