I’ve recently gotten a lot more clear on how I want to dress; what would be in line with the real me. In my case, that is most definitely a witch, which shouldn’t surprise you. And since I’m not the light, fluffy, spun sugar, lovey-dovey kind, I’m not into the softer styles. I have an attitude, so my clothes will show that. If your true you is a witch as well, what’s witchy to you when it comes to clothing?
For some, it might be flowing fabrics and earthy colours. For others, it might be black on black. Others prefer a more medieval or fantasy style What I feel suits me best is a cross between Gothic and Pagan fashion with long skirts, dark and strong colours and sometimes with a structure-garment like a corset, bustier or a cincher.
I’m far from having my dream wardrobe, I only have one shirt I like and one pair of shoes. Nothing wrong with that 🙂 as long as they fit. I’ve looked like a sack of potatoes in oversized sweatpants and t-shirts for over 20 years, and I’m fed up with it. It makes me feel fatter than I am, and believe it’s part of what keeps me at this weight.

For me, so far, it’s just earthy colors! But I just created a Pinterest vision board that I am hoping will inspire me, clothes-wise.

I don’t really know what my “style” is per se. I enjoy my jeans, converse sneakers, and teeshirts. I love my comfy sweaters and my hand/arm warmers. But I love flowy skirts and pirate-like shirts. I love wearing the wench outfits, too. and I love the whole Steampunk fashion as well 😀
I enjoy my jeans as well, when I’m a bit lighter than right now. Right now everything feels too tight. Wnech outfits? That needs research 😀
I’m probably boring, but I don’t really show my “witchyness” with my clothes. After being broke for so long, I have a very practical style, slightly boring but endlessly useable clothes that I can wear at work and for witchy stuff alike.
Also, this is Ireland – floaty dresses are great but anyone who’s ever tried to cross a soaked, boggy Irish meadow in a long skirt and light shoes, will wear jeans and boots the next time 😀 So that’s what I do.
