This year is my 20th anniversary, but not in marriage. It’s actually my 23rd anniversary of living with my husband, and the 8th of my marriage, but that’s another story. 2014 marks my 20th anniversary as a witch, and I’m willing it to be the best year I’ve had as an adult.
I will
- get my business as an Intuitive Creative Guide where I want it to be
- take more time for myself
- have a lot more fun
- celebrate more
- journey more (the spiritual kind)
- make me a priority on a daily basis
- not take any more shit from other people
- love more
- get back to my Yoga, walks, and workouts
- explore new food
- find the clothes I love
- create a lot more art
- and empower other women to do the same for themselves.
These are not New Year’s resolutions, they are firm intentions. I haven’t done a New Year’s resolution in over 30 years. They don’t stick. With my tenacity, willpower, and strength, I will make these happen.
It sounds like you will have a very full year. I always love adding new foods at any chance I get! I also think it is important to take time for yourself. Good luck with your endeavors.
I hope it will be full of joy, and less work than 2013. Thanks.
It’s funny you should mention my intentions…
I just wrote about my 5 Things on my 2014 Bucket List…

I love the “not take anymore shit from people” one…
I think it’s imperative that we do things for us and not others.
Loved this post.
Keep it Touched,

I’ll go check it out 🙂 Thanks
Congratulations on the anniversary! I love your intentions list. Mine are to at least get the mortgage and maybe even the piece of land this year, and I’ll do almost anything to achieve this 🙂
Thanks Sibylle 🙂 That’s a great intention
I agree with you that New Year’s Resolutions don’t stick. This year my intention is to make small changes to my lifestyle in order to reach my goals. E.g. Adopt portion control on my food rather than going on a diet.

That’s the only sustainable way to do it. I’m pretty good at portion control. But I need to get better at eating regularly to avoid the bad kind of snacking.
Congrats on your Anniversary! What an achievement! Sounds like you have some good things lined up in the new year and I’m sure you’ll achieve them as well.
My resolution is to “unplug” a bit from the internet and focus more on family. You know what’s been going on in my personal life and I really need to put that extra effort into family and my home.
Happy New Year Linda. I look forward to seeing what you come up with this year!
Thanks Bren 🙂 Sounds like a good one
Have a great year
YAY for no resolutions! Congrats! I love your 2014 intentions! 😀
Thanks 🙂
