I bet you know which business chores I’m talking about. We all have some of those, and letting go of them is crucial to your lasting success and fulfilment. Because if you don’t love what you do, you’ll either quit or be miserable in the long run.
Letting go of these chores will leave more time for:
- and all the other things you’d love to have time for.
As an extra bonus, you’ll be more attractive to clients if you’re happier 🙂
I’m not talking about getting rid of things you do that you like, that have a good ROI. Whether that’s monetary or emotional ROI. But the others, the ones that make business boring, frustrating, and make you want to procrastinate until you have no choice but to do them. Those that no longer resonate with you, those you don’t like, and those that are draining you.
At the beginning of the year is a great time to reassess what you actually like about your business, and what you don’t like. Make a list of each, and take the “don’t like” list and look at it closely.
Are there some business chores you could drop? Are there some you could outsource?
Are there some you could outsource?
If there are, do it!
I’ve dropped a lot of busy work and frustrating tasks so far this year, and there’s more on the list. First on my list to outsource is bookkeeping, and I’m currently looking for someone to do that.
What are you looking to outsource or drop this year?
