I got an unexpected taste of overwhelm again today, after thinking I got rid of it for good. I managed to put a lot on my schedule for today and then ended up spending hours editing a radio show on top of that. It’s probably time for me to do another round of “Practice what you Preach” 😀
I’m going to clean out my schedule and get rid of what shouldn’t be there. I’m also taking a day off to just chill. If you’re constantly overwhelmed, I might be able to help you out of that. I think we’re all guilty of cramming too much STUFF into our schedules occasionally. For me it’s the weekends – it’s the only time where I get to spend longer periods of time at home, and often I think completely unrealistically about the number of things I can accomplish. Then I take a step back and decide to put up my feet instead 🙂
I recognize being unrealistically optimistic at times. I finished Friday at 1:30 on Saturday 😀 Being able to stop yourself is a great ability to have sometimes
