We all have days that are long and rough. At the end of the day, you really just want to go to bed and have a better one tomorrow. But to get a good night’s sleep, and get a better day next day, you have to relax before you go to bed.

I’ve told you before that getting enough sleep is important to be creative. Good quality sleep has a lot of other benefits too. But you can’t get a good night’s sleep if you chug down half a liter of caffeine and throw yourself into bed after cleaning half the house.

Make sure you get at least ten minutes to relax completely before trying to sleep.

That’s what I intend to do tonight.

How about you?

PS. I’m writing this today because I’ve had a couple of those kinds of days, and I’m tired. It’s as simple as that 🙂

I hear ya!! It’s the same for me when I’m gaming until bedtime. It’s quite an adrenaline rush to adventure with my friends in-game, and I need at least an hour to wind down afterwards before I can sleep.

Hope you got some rest! 🙂

I had a crazy week too…In fact this whole month is a blur! I even forgot a couple birthdays!

I do take some time to relax before going to sleep but this week I’ve had some sleepless nights. Looking forward to this long weekend to recharge :).

TGIF! Have a great day and fabulous weekend Linda!

Thanks 🙂 I’ve been taking it easy today, taking a walk, and a nap, just doing fun stuff. Tonight I’m crafting and having a drink. Have a great weekend Corina 🙂
