I did a series of three small pantings of flowers on recycled cardboard. These were made as prizes for my January winners in the competition I run on my blog. This month is an artist hunt if you’re interested in participating. These paintings are in acrylic on recycled cardboard (panels from cardboard boxes for ice cream).
They’re all around 7 x 6 inches and were made very quickly to keep them loose. I did not want to go too much into detail for these. The splatter spots on the Marigold were actually my daughter’s idea. She thought it needed them. She also said I should paint a ring around the center of the flower, but I decided not to.
