Colt’s Foot is the first flower of Spring where I live. Last year, we got the first Colt’s Foot on the 11th of April. This year we had to wait until today, but now they’re here 🙂 Lilith picked the first ones on the south-facing slope by the road on our short walk today.
I had to look up what colt’s foot is in German, some plants I still know in one language and not the other! Lovely to hear that spring has finally sprung in Norway, and what a great picture of Lilith! 🙂
I have no clue what Colt’s Foot is in German 🙂 I know it in Norwegian, Swedish, English and Latin 😀 I’ve waited for Spring for quite a while, and now it’s finally here. Thanks 🙂
I always think of snowdrops as being the first flowers of spring! In Australia we are blessed with warmer winters than you so have flowers in one form or another all year round!
It is always wonderful seeing the change of seasons, though 🙂
We don’t get snowdrops up here 🙂
