I’ve ended up on a forced break this week, due to a pain flare-up. It kept me awake for most of last night, and then my allergies decided to hit at the same time. So I wasn’t feeling that nice this morning. Pretty much the only part of me that wants to work is my brain, and it doesn’t feel like doing anything that isn’t fun.

Most of what caused the pain to flare up was my own doing. I ran out of pain meds and I helped my husband clear out a shed yesterday. That wasn’t very smart at all. The shed is cleared, and I’ve got my meds now, so I will be back to my normal self soon. But I’ve decided to use this week for rest, relaxation, art, mingling online, and most of all to think things through.

I need to do a lot of thinking about where I want my business to go. That’s why I didn’t post any tarot card on facebook and Google+ this morning. I won’t be posting any this week. I have to reserve the headspace that remains after taking care of my family for the thinking I need to do. What’s most important to me, when it comes to my business, is to be authentic, to be myself in my business. That means not limiting myself to just one area. I am a multi-creative, as well a witch, a herbalist, an intuitive, a crafter, and many other things. So I want to have a lot more creativity in my business for one.

I want it to be unapologetically me; the creative, intuitive, fun, chatterbox, artist, witch.

While you wait for me to figure things out, please keep reading this blog, and interacting with me on social media. I know this new thing will involve my art, and some classes and workshops.

If you want to have a look at some of the artwork I’ve made, head on over to the art category and share anything you like.

Another thing that’s been bugging me is setting aside specific time slots for things like readings. I want a more natural approach to it. I have a booking system, it shows when I’m busy or not. Just pick a slot, and we’ll go with it. No matter which service you want. I plan to rock when I get back to business 🙂

You owe yourself a break Linda. Take all the time you need. I’m getting ready to take one from MGP to focus on writing a story. I used to love writing fiction. 🙂

So take all the time you need, we’ll be here waiting.

Thanks Bren 🙂 Write away, it’s tons of fun. I actually have 6 chapters written on a fantasy novel (if I can find them again).

I completely understand where you’re coming from as I find myself there too (often). Rest, ponder and look after yourself ♥

Thanks Lyn, I know you have your own struggles. Do the same for you.

I know you’re used to dealing with pain, but I can’t imagine that makes it any more “enjoyable”. Hope you’ll feel better soon! Also loving your journey and seeing what you’ll come up with next – it’s always good 🙂

It doesn’t, but it makes it easier to handle than for someone who isn’t 🙂 Thanks Sibylle

Well we need a break every once in a while. To get our creative juices flowing.

And this is what I mean as well — I am so there with you. My son is placing me in the ‘I do not know what to do anymore’ position and also with my health issues, including the chronic pain, it is not helpful at all. I am here for you.
