As some of you know, I’m working on replacing my clothes with something that fits my style. Since I updated you last time, I’ve purchased a number of things, and I thought you might want to have a look at it. I’ve bought:
- 3 black V-neck t-shirts
- 1 V-neck blouse
- A pair of sparkly, black leg warmers
- A corset
- Laces for my other corset
- A leather coin purse
I, unfortunately, had to return the corset, as the fit wasn’t right (the gap looked like the Eiffel Tower), and it was too big. But Vollers offered to adjust it (customize it) for me, for free. So I sent it back today. I hope to have it back soon. I haven’t laced up my other corset with the new laces yet, but I’ll be doing that this weekend. I found the t-shirts and the blouse on sale at H&M, after not being able to find anything with a V-neck for months. So I’m pretty happy about that.
One of the t-shirts is in the picture of the corset. I haven’t taken one of the blouse I got yet, but I will. The leg warmers are a necessity because of my joints, and the weather we’ve been having lately. I found them at a “dollar store”-type shop when I stopped by for builder’s silicone. (We’re replacing the kitchen fan, but that’s another story.)
The coin purse was a lot larger than I thought (about 5×4″), but that gives me plenty of room for cards and other things. I can even fit my mobile in there. I will embellish it in my own style soon, but right now it’s black leather only.

I’m thinking of making some warmers for my legs and hands/arms with this stuff. It’s spendy but OMG … WANT!!! OH and a scarf too! hehe

Definitely love the leg warmers or corset. You go girl! I have no specific style. During my work week, it’s hoodies and jeans until it gets warm. At home about the same but may change up my jeans for sweats. 🙂
Thanks Bren 🙂 My style the last 20 years has been over-sized t-shirts and sweats, with jeans on occasion. So I feel the need to do something about it.
