It seems this is a lesson I need to learn again and again. My body decided that I have been working too much and hit me with a virtual 2×4 to get the message through. On Monday, I was diagnosed with a viral infection in my lungs and sent home with Prednisolone (a corticosteroid) and orders to take it easy for a week.

I had planned to make the most out of my days alone in the house by drawing and painting, but I’m going to have to do a lot less of everything. I’m planning to reduce my administrative and marketing tasks to a minimum after this, so I don’t have to revisit this.

For now, I will rest as much as possible. I won’t be completely inactive, that’s just not me. I’ve been doing some art. But the Arthropoda Tarot deck will take longer to finish.
