I’ve decided to do an event for my page on Facebook as a way to clear out some paintings so I’ll have room for more and support some causes I care about.
From March 1st until the 14th (my birthday), 15 of my paintings will be offered for sale in this event but in a different way than usual. You get to pick the price that fits with what my art is worth to you and support a cause as well. 20 % will go toward one of three Norwegian causes (more about those further down.
How were the artworks chosen?
The artworks were selected at random (whichever was at the top of the pile, so to speak), so there’s a fair bit of variety to choose from. The images will show up on Instagram and Twitter as well but the sale is held on Facebook.

The causes you will be supporting
Myas omplassering for pusehjerter – An organisation focused on re-homing local stray cats. They use the same vet as I do, so I’ve had the opportunity to get to know them a bit.
Midtre Gauldal Frivilligsentral – The local volunteer organisation organizing several different things, for example, the Halloween party I’ve helped with for three years and the art & crafts market in the nearest town a couple of times a year.
Idavollen tingsted – A place for groups with historical, creative and spiritual interests to have gatherings. This is, for example, where the Asatru organisation I belong to have their yearly gatherings.
