I’m not talking about the pros of being Pagan, although there are many. I’m talking about Pagan Professionals. During my many years as a witch, I’ve come across a lot of Pagan Professionals. Professional bloggers, shop owners, witches, fortune tellers, and Pagans with perfectly normal businesses (whatever normal is). What I haven’t found so far, is a Pagan business coach, business mentor, marketing coach or marketing consultant. They go by many names, but I still haven’t found one.
I was recently told I need one, during a free strategy call with Stella Orange. She had some good pointers for what I need to change, and getting a coach/mentor/consultant (or whatever you call it) was one. I would just really like to be able to find a Pagan one. The people who know their stuff in this field, say you should choose one you click with, someone you feel like you have something in common with, and who knows about the market you’re in. Well, I’m in the Pagan/Alternative market, so I need someone who knows it.
Have you heard of any?
In case you’re wondering, the following was what came out of our conversation:
- My prices are way too low for both my art, crafts, and services
- I need to make my copy juicier
- I need to describe who I help and how more clearly
- I need to focus more on my services than my art (don’t quite like how that sounds) because it’s less work for more money
- I may need to get a new focus group that is able and willing to pay for what I do
- and, I need a business coach
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’ve made a few changes to how I describe my services, both here and on the main site.
Tell me what you think about those points and the changes I’ve made.
This post is part of the Pagan Blog Project, created by Rowan Pendragon.
I know of one, actually, her name is M. Flora Peterson, and she’s a pagan witch (Dianic wiccan, I think?) and a coach. Maybe you’d like to check her out? 🙂

I know of her, yes, but I didn’t know she did business cooaching. I’ll check her out, thanks 🙂
I think you need the Goddess Circle! Though not all pagan, there are many witchy women there, and it’s the best mastermind group I’ve ever had. It currently replaces business coaching for me, because I get a lot of what I previously got from coaching, from the Goddesses there – all I need is post in the forum and ask.
Hugs!!
I’d love to, but there’s a problem. I wish I could afford paying $99 a month, but I can’t.
I’m there, too. In the goddess circle, I mean. 🙂
It’s 199 USD a year, or four installments of 55.
Strange, I’ve seen different prices. The first time I was there, it said $99 one time only, then a year or so later it said $99/month (unless I read it wrong. But now it says $199/year. I’ll have to sell a few more paintings & services first though. My total profit for last year was around $210.
Yeah, it was 99 USD/year up until recently, when she doubled all of her prices. The pro is that you get access to the business course and a lot of woman building their businesses right along with you – great for masterminding and reviews and favors of all sorts, and it’s also a wonderful place to commit self-development, due to the supportive environment in there.
The con, besides the high price, for me, anyway, is that there are not a lot of pagans in there. You’ll find art, crystals, spiritual self-development, tarot and stuff like that, but the more earthy stuff… It’s hardly there. That’s what I miss the most.
Yes, and I could use dome one-on-one time as well
Linda, I am glad you posted this. I know who Stella Orange is and I do like what she has shared on both the UBC and her FB … however … she runs with a different crowd. So I am glad you are reaching out. Because for her to tell you to focus on your services and not your art was totally WRONG! I’m sorry … but that right there … NO! There are groups out there. If you arent’ in the Bad-Ass Fluffy bunny group with Amethyst Mahoney, please join — https://www.facebook.com/groups/badassfluffybunny/ There are a LOT of holistic/metaphysical coaches in the circle — at least the people there can help guide you in the right direction .. also — did you sign up for Amethyst’s webinar? I know you can still sign up and get the recordings — http://bit.ly/4monthsuccessfulbiz
When she told me that I almost screamed, so I’m not shifting my focus. I love doing art, it’s why I got rid of the pagan supplies business. I’m joining right now. I know I get her newsletter, but I’ not sure if I watched that webinar. I’ll have to check.
