I thought I’d show you some October photos I took with my phone yesterday. The weather turned from sunshine to snow in about ten minutes. Even though I didn’t want snow this soon, it’s pretty fitting considering yesterday was the first day of Gormánuður, and was seen as the first day of winter. It’s celebrated as ‘vetrnætr’ or Winter Nights by many heathens. Some celebrate díseblot on this day.
