I know going to the Viking Market might not be a strictly Pagan subject. but for me, it’s interwoven with my spiritual practice. For four days, I got to enjoy the sunrise by the sea and live the role of the witch to a greater extent than usual. I did a bit better this year than the last, probably because I was there the whole time, and not just on Saturday.
I did five readings, sold 5 rune sticks, and answered a lot of questions. Someone also approached me with an offer to add me to their Norwegian Pagan Blog Directory. I gave them my email and they’re going to get in touch when it’s up and running. I thought you might enjoy seeing some of the pictures from the event, so here are the pictures from Trondheim Viking Market 2012:
More pictures can be viewed here.
There are more pictures, but as they’re close-ups of people I haven’t asked permission from, they’re in a password protected album. There are also some pictures there of things you really have to be there to see. Bonfires, drumming, competitions etc. The people are fantastic, the weather was great, the food was amazing, and I had a wonderful time.

This sounds so great! I hope I can go one of these years! (And, btw, I think it’s VERY pagan.)
I hope so too, I’d love to meet you there.
