A while ago, I did a Tarot reading for a fellow female entrepreneur. I thought the question was a really good example, so with her permission, I decided to show it to you. Her question was: What would help me the most in finishing my book. I know a lot of authors get held up midway. If this is you, it might give you an idea or two as well.

The Cards

What would help me the most in finishing my book, a reading #tarot

The Answer

After interpreting the cards, this is the answer I gave her: The book is suspended in mid-air because you feel it needs something more, but you don’t think you know what that is. You may need to give something up in order to progress. The most likely suspect is control. You’ve done a lot of research for this book, worked hard at it, and done a lot of thinking. Now’s the time to stop for a little while. Take some time to yourself, and let everything sink in. That will give you the basis for an intuitive decision on how to move forward.

A collaboration may be needed to do the finishing touches. Trust your instincts when making the choice. Your book has great potential and will inspire many. Believe in this and everything will turn out great. There will be ups and downs, as even book writing runs in cycles. Stay positive, and the change will come. People look to you for help. This book will yet another way you help them. You take good care of others but you may be neglecting taking care of yourself. So some self-care might be in order. If money is a worry for you, do the best you can with what you’ve got. Don’t put yourself in debt to get this out there. Remember that done is a lot better than perfect.

Some good common sense and worthy advice. Is that fiverr offer for real? You’ll do a reading like this for $5?

Thanks 🙂 That offer is for real, yes 🙂 The readings are smaller than the ones I do through this site, but it’s only $5.

Linda, that is excellent advice for anyone that feels stuck in a current situation and doesn’t know what to do next. I especially struggle with this part “Stay positive, and the change will come.”, but I am trying harder to maintain that view point. Thanks for sharing that reading!

I agree with Sicorra LInda, this is great advice for all of us who gets stuck in a rut sometimes.

I have problems with control too. I want to make sure it’s done right so I try to do it all. I’m not sure if it’s the same control that you refer to your client. 🙂

Thanks for sharing this reading with us. It was very interesting. I’m curious though, you mentioned the book is suspended in the air, which card are you referring to?

    Thanks,
    Corina.

Thanks Corina 🙂 I was referring to the Hanged Man.
