On occasion, doubt creeps up on you and eats away at your self-confidence. It makes you hesitant and keeps you from reaching your goals. One way to deal with ‘one of those days’ is to do a confidence booster. This might be something really simple, like putting on make-up, putting on some sassy clothes, or it can be a more elaborate ritual.
What are your favourite confidence boosters?
What makes you stop doubting yourself for a while and strut your stuff like a goddess? Leave me a comment below.
Sometimes I just have to stop the stinkin thinkin. I do that by walking, cleaning the house, singing. I also do EFT and release work. Sunnier the day, the better. I like getting dressed up… which I don’t do often as I am working from home. So when I have a chamber meeting, I wear casual business attire. 🙂
When I do get caught up in stinking thinking, I’m often able to just snap myself out of it. Walking is a really good way to do it though, especially walking in the forest. I don’t dress up as often as I probably should 🙂 I also run my business from home.
Well, as shallow as it may be, the best confidence boost for me is makeup…I look forward to reading what others say 🙂
Looking your best always helps 🙂 I don’t wear makeup often, but I do when I feel that I need that boost. Dressing nice also helps in my case.
Beautiful lingerie under whatever I am wearing does it for me. No one else can see it, but I know it’s there!
Lingerie does help 🙂 The same goes for structure garments, for those like me with a little extra 🙂
I listen to some loud music, could be rock or country, depending on mood 🙂 Also I may write down 5 things I accomplished lately. Makes me feel much better right away!
Loud music definitely helps 🙂 My preference is Metal though 😀
I find it is impossible to be discouraged when I am encouraging someone. So I will call a friend who thinks I am wonderful and share what I love about them, inspire and motivate them till I feel in the zone and experience my own magnificence. Usually I get the bonus of being reminded of my magnificence by them, but not necessary, I remind myself.
That’s a lovely way to do it 🙂
I think that resting and doing something that I love helps a lot but I also loved your suggestions – taking care of myself is a great way to feel better too 😉
