First on my list of future goals for a more sustainable and healthy life, was replacing skin care products, and I even though I’d achieved it. I had bought products from Lush, but after they showed a very unfortunate attitude towards parabens, I’ve decided to make my own. I still haven’t gotten around to finding the recipes I need. Fortunately, I got soaps from a friend who makes soap.

After a bad winter, I’m back on my diet. I gained 10 kgs back, but I hope to get rid of them. The reason for the gain was that I’ve been hibernating. I’ve snacked like mad and done little after my shoulders gave in and I had to reduce my painkillers at the same time.

In the process of healthier eating and buying better quality, I’ve replaced products containing palm oil with products that don’t. As for getting more independent, I’ve taken a small step in the right direction. I got a provisionary moped license (due to age) yesterday while waiting for the proper one to be made. I also bought a helmet. I’m getting a moped to have something to drive while working towards my driver’s license.

This makes me able to get around without relying on my husband to drive me. I’ll still have to use trains and busses though. I’ve decided to paint on recycled materials. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a worthy replacement of acrylic paint. If you have any hints and tips, let me know. The “spend less time at work” has been achieved in a less fortunate way. I’m on sick-leave for my shoulders, heading for disability. Here’s the list of goals I made, so you don’t have to look for it in old posts.
