Here is another of my old drawings. This is a portrait of our first cat, which my sister got when she turned 4. He was a real tomcat in all respects. He disappeared once courting a female cat in a nearby neighbourhood, fought other cats in the yard and under the cottage in summer. He came home with a hole in his head once, and a big wound on his throat another time.
In the beginning, he was completely black but developed white spots over the larger injuries. Towards people, he was a very friendly and cuddly cat, so I have fond memories of him. He died suddenly at 5 years of age, probably due to either eating something poisonous or kidney problems. Now you know why the drawing is called Alley Cat.
The drawing is from June 2004 and was made on copy paper with coloured pencils.
