As my religion isn’t of an Abrahamic origin, I don’t believe there is such a thing as sin. I don’t feel guilty either when indulging myself in any of these pleasures. But since others might feel that way, and since it’s a good headline that’s what I’m calling it.
My Seven Sins are:
- a long, hot, herbal bath
- a good sized vanilla cream filled bun
- cheeeeese
- mead!
- horse steak
- a well-mixed drink
- a massage
I don’t indulge in these (or anything else) as often as I should, and I bet you don’t either. Let’s make an effort to “sin” more often.
What would your Seven Sins be?
Let me know in the comments below.
Yep, I’m with you on the sin thing too. I believe that all things in moderation (well mostly all things because there are some things that really go against personal and societal ethics isn’t there). I guess my Seven Sins would be:
1. A big roast dinner – beef or lamb with roast potatoes and parsnips, veggies, sage & oinion stuffing, yorkshire puddings with either homemade horseradish or mint sauce.
2. Ayurvedic body massage
3. Home made fresh bread with loads of butter
4. erm…dare I say it…cigarettes
5. Coffee
6. A very good bottle of red wine
7. Books…and more books! Thank goodness for Kindle but it hasn’t stopped me buying the real thing.
Bright blessings

OOh, sounds nice 🙂 Except the coffee and cigarettes. I’ve never liked coffee and I quit smoking back in 1996. Books, definitely books.
Hmmm. My seven sins would be:
– laziness, as in the ability to spend all day in my comfy chair next to my budgies and read and be online and do nada.
– eating salt-and-pepper crisps with sour cream dip, all of which is processed food that I wouldn’t usually touch.
– Chilean merlot.
– eating out (I hate cooking. Haven’t been able to afford eating out in years, but boy do I wish I could).
– greek yogurt with manuka honey. Nuff said.
– complete indifference in the face of housework.
– books. Books. More books.
🙂
Good ones Sibylle 🙂 I often have days that are mostly lazy, and housework is a “four letter word” 😀
