This week’s Tarot card is the 7 of pentacles, and you can listen to my interpretation in the video below. If you’d rather read it, you’ll find the text below the video.
You need to wait and see your investment grow. This does not have to be related to money, it can even be a diet. Your investment can be time, effort, energy, or anything else. Be patient.
If you’re planning for the future, this card shows that you’re best off taking a long-term view. You have started to see that there are some areas that have become energy, thieves. You may need to choose whether to use energy on things and people that are already in your life, or whether to try to bring new things. Choose wisely.
The Seven of Pentacles indicates that your effort will be worth it and you’ll see the results and rewards for your labor. You may have been working on something quite challenging and important for the last few months, and this is likely to reach a peak. You’ll most likely see financial or other rewards for your hard work.
You’ll want to invest in things that will benefit you long-term. You’re not looking for a quick fix or a fast buck. You’ll want to make sure that you’re focusing on the right areas. The ones that will give you the best return on investment. You have a long-term view and you want your results to last.
Sometimes, the card can also point to frustration. You’ve been slaving away at something important and you may be starting to feel like you’ll never be rewarded for your work. Be patient and appreciate the progress you’ve made. If your hard work hasn’t paid off yet, check your expectations. They may be unrealistic.
The Seven of Pentacles can also represent fear of failure. Review your progress from time to time, so you can figure out what’s working and what isn’t. Make sure that you stay on track to achieve your goals.
I like this segment! Seems to be spot on in some cases.
Thanks 🙂 It’s easier to get spot on when it’s for a single person, and not general.
It is like reading the runes. I have had tarot readings, the reading of the runes and astrological profiles. You can find things that fit your life in all of them.
Yes, it is 🙂 I’ve read runes a lot longer than Tarot.
This reading is a lovely gift to start off the week – thank you.
I’m glad you liked it Deborah 🙂
I needed exactly this today! Thank you!
Glad to help 🙂
I keep receiving this same message in various forms. Thanks for this one as another confirmation!
Sounds like your intuition is trying to tell you something then 🙂
I agree with growth and fear aspect of what the cards are saying. ..thanks for sharing
Thanks Sacha 🙂
Taking a broader or long term view is so important. It’s easy for me to get caught up in the day to day details and forget about the big picture. Thanks for the reminder Linda!
My pleasure Nancy 🙂 Thanks for stopping by
Looking back on my week, I had moments where I was thinking about how I’ve been spinning my wheels on some projects and that I needed to look at them in a different light to be able to see my path. Thank you for sharing this….makes everything more clear.
Thanks 🙂 I’m glad it gave you some clarity
Sign me up for the “fear of failure” list. Actually, I fear success too. Not sure what that’s about! I like thinking about long-term vs. short-term, especially when it takes some pressure off. Great post!
It’s entirely possible to fear both. Maybe the fear of success is a visibility thing?
Thanks 🙂
