A client asked me how she could inject more creativity into her life, so she could feel more energetic.

This was a Creative Support Session, so I started by pulling a Tarot card. The card I pulled is very clearly about balance, to prioritize what you do. My client agreed that she was trying to do way too many things at once. So I told her to try to balance her work, to limit the amount of things she does at one time, so that she can conserve her energy in a way that lets her be creative within those projects. Otherwise, the fun goes out of it. She said:

“Yes, that makes a lot of sense because even the projects that seem like fun, end up feeling like work.”

Limiting your energy use to what’s most important at that time, and get a bit creative within those projects, actually gives you a kind of energy surge. Which then makes it easier to get the rest done. But don’t do it all at the same time. As I said, it will take the fun out of it, no matter how fun they seemed to begin with.

    Great advice Linda!

I have to work on limiting the things I do at once too. That is a major challenge for me because I have this deadline in my mind and I have no idea why. 🙂

Try putting one up against the other, to see what feels more important to you. Then continue down the list.
