Great ones Linda! My fav is “People will Stare, Make it Worth their While.” How true this is. Sometimes I’ll do things at work just so my co-workers will talk about it. Why? Because then I know they are leaving someone else alone. Same thing with this quote. Where whatever you like, fix your hair and makeup YOUR way, do YOUR thing. Walk down the street with a pit bull and see how many people will stare. So I try to bend down and kiss on my big lugs head. Yep, make it worth while!
I love (and believe in) “You need to stop doing things for people when it’s expected rather than appreciated.” And “Chin up, boobs out, walk proud. Life’s too short for negatives.” I WANT her polka-dots dress, too!

Thanks Bren 🙂 Do YOUR thing is best. We need more women doing that in this world.
Love this post, Linda. Janis Joplin was a trendsetter and one of a kind! I love the “people will stare” quote! Very inspiring!
(I am here from your comment over at my blog post “hair care myths and facts).
🙂 Great “meeting” you!
Thanks Vidya 🙂 It’s a damned shame she passed so young. I liked that one too, and your hair care myths post. Great to meet you too 🙂
