Last week I showed you how you can create your own mark, your own bindrune. This week, I’m going to show you how to create your first amulet using runes.
First, choose your purpose; what will this amulet be for/against? Some examples of common purposes are:
- For love (in general, not specific)
- For happiness
- For protection
- For luck
- For money
- Against arguments
- Against negativity
- To stop smoking
It’s best to choose something simple like this for the first one. Then choose your material, this could really be anything you have handy; paper, clay, wood etc. After that, you choose your method for drawing the symbol, as this depends on what material you’ve chosen. Now you can design your symbol. You do this the same way as you designed your mark; just make sure you don’t create any unintended runes in the process.
“just make sure you don’t create any unintended runes in the process.”
Yeah, that would definitely be a concern if I started dabbling! I think I’ll learn and study for a bit before I attempt this 🙂
Just create one to try it, and check afterward if there are any. It’s not always negative to get an extra rune. Sometiimes it makes the effect stronger.
unintended symbols are always present in talismens. The charging focuses on the desired parts. If it’s made with strong intent the proper energies will be there.
It is possible to avoid uninteded symbols when you’re working with runes, at least when you stick to one futhark at a time. I’ve never charged a single of my amulets, and they seem to work nonetheless. I do use intent of course, but I mostly rely on the power of the symbol itself.
