I had never heard of Radio Scrying before, but on the 1st of August, this tweet by Naya Aerodiode showed up in my Twitter feed:
I discovered that I can use my shortwave radio for scrying. Neat.

Needless to say, I was intrigued. I asked her what it was about, and she was kind enough to tell me:
.@LindaUrsin I went into a trance, asked the spirits to use it as a through which to speak. Randomly dialed to a dead channel and listened.

Now, I’m no good at scrying. I haven’t really tried. I did write up my collected info on scrying back in 2004, but that’s about it. But I’m sure some of you have tried it, and probably also successfully.
Have you ever tried using the radio, or any other modern piece of modern technology for your scrying?

Interesting.
I’m reminded of a method of divination I read about once. (I wish I remembered where.) It consisted of plugging one’s ears and entering a crowded marketplace. When the earplugs were removed, the first words one heard were a message from Hermes.
Not sure why my mind connected the two, except that modern means of communication – particularly the internet, but radio and televison as well – are modern marketplaces of a sort.

Busy soundwaves maybe 🙂 Thanks for letting me know about that one. I hadn’t heard of it before.
I love my card 🙂 It’s such a great idea to spread art around this way!
I thought so too 🙂 I love sending them
