Today, I planned to show you the finished watercolour sketch for the second series, the ‘Weird Cats’ but life intervened. So I’m showing you the progress so far instead. I hope you like where it’s heading.
The ‘Weird Cats’ series will have some similarities with my ‘Strange Birds’ in that some colours will change and I’ll add some patterns. One difference is that they’ll have a layer of coloured pencil in addition to the watercolour and fine-liner, to get the fur texture the way I want it.
I’ve finished the layer of watercolour. The coloured pencil and fine-liner will be added tomorrow (unless life happens again).
