Toad

Size: 21 x 14,8 cm

Materials: Acrylics and fine-liner on watercolour paper

I had created this colourful background and had been wanting to do something more with it for a while. This is what it eventually turned into: A colourful Toad. To be completely honest, my daughter picked the Toad out of a couple of alternatives 🙂

I drew the Toad in with pencil and covered everything outside it with a layer of Gesso. Then I used a fine-liner to create the lines before filling in some more colour in acrylics.
