Maple Leaf in Autumn

This Maple Leaf was created on a background that I’d previously done for an art challenge. I found the colour very fitting for an Autumn leaf and used one of my own photos as a reference. The painting was created in watercolour on watercolour paper.

A Maple leaf isn’t a common site where I live. They’re not native to this area. As far as I know, there’s only one tree here, at a neighbour’s house.
