When I sat down to plan my 12th bird, I came across the Hoopoe and thought it looked amazing with those feathers on top of its head. It’s almost wearing a crown. I decided to use a complimentary colour to the orange for this one.
The message the Hoopoe has for you is to wear your crown in a good way, to sing your own song and come into your own personal power. To tap into the ancient wisdom for advice, and to connect to Earth when you need balance. It’s connected to the Sun, so spending time in sunlight may be a way to cleanse yourself. It also speaks of honouring your inner timing and making quick movements and decisions. If you need to escape, its suggestion is a sprint, tunnelling, or when necessary, using odour or sound to deter the threat.
Having this on your wall could help you own your inner power and remind you to put on that crown.
