This October (and later two times a year) I’m hosting a Creativity Challenge. If your creativity has been on the back burner, this is the time to do something about it. In this challenge, you will be creating something every day for 31 days. You will be sharing this creation in our closed Facebook group, and you’ll be keeping a Creative Journal. To sign up and join us, go to https://lindaursin.net/october-creativity-challenge/

I found you through Delia @blog formatting comment weekend! This is something I’ll think about it to make… When is the final day to subscribe to this event?
Thanks for stopping by. The last day to register will be September 30.
This challenge sounds very very interesting…!
Thanks 🙂 Hop on board
Hi Linda – this sounds like a great challenge, but the timings not great for us. I love the idea of making a mess though 🙂 I’ll be interested to see what happens.
I’ll run it again in April 🙂
Sounds very interesting, but as a Christian your opening surprised me (heathen witch) so I would not be comfortable in participating. Thanks for the invite, in any event.
That’s ok 🙂 I have nothing against Christians (except those that try to convert me), and I understand that some are uncomfortable with those terms.
Wow. Thank you for this. My dad was just telling me about a book he read in church about emotions and healing. He said one of the healers of depression is expression–whether it is talking or creativity. I really haven’t had much time to be creative lately…….. but this is a really good idea to get back to doing something (I guess having a blog is being creative too though, right)!
It is being creative, and expressive. You can even use it as a journal
Dropping by from blogformatting
It’s great to be creative, we all need to express ourselves, it’s part of knowing or finding who we are
Yes 🙂 Thanks for stopping by
Hi there Linda,
This is awesome of you to do. I love that you said we can learn to let go of wanting to be perfect…that is my problem. I want everything to be just so.
How long have you been doing this for your audience?
This is the first ever challenge I’ve run, but I’ve been recommending things like this for quite a while 🙂
That tickled me,lol…b/c that is just where my creativity has been. I use to do all type of DYI’s and crafts…now it seems as though I get to do nothing. But I am working on it. Thanks for the share. Visiting from Blog Formatting weekend…http://fitandbeyond40.com/importance-maintaining-flexibility/
Thanks for stopping by, why not hop on board?
What a great idea. I definitely need to practice letting go of perfection!

Thanks 🙂 I think most of us do
Hey Linda,
Thanks for creating such an empowering challenge and that sounds like fun. I will be away most of October however I am also participating in Amethyst Mahoney’s 90 Day Transformation recording a video everyday which is going to be great and keep me in connection with my creativity while sharing insights with the world.
Hope everyone has a fantastic time because it’s these challenges that enable us to grow. xx
Have a blessed weekend
Ana
I’m there too, and I’m sure it’ll be a lot of fun. I’m also in a 28 day networking challenge, 50 days to 50 k, and the 30 Day Get Focused challenge 😀
Thank you for sharing. I have signed up to the 28 Day Networking Challenge and 30 day Get focused challenge. I had done some work with the lady from the 50 days to 50 k before. Enjoy 🙂
I’m in those myself 🙂
Hi Linda,
This is a lovely idea – I’m afraid it’s not the right time for me to join you, but I hope it’s a great success. I love what you say about making a mess and coming to terms with things not being perfect – that’s a lesson I’m trying hard to learn!
I hope you and all those who join you have a fantastic time 🙂
Thanks 🙂 Maybe next time. I plan to run this twice a year
Found you on Blog Formatting and checked you out. I love this thought and if I were in a different place in my life, I’d be signing up and joining you. Right now, writing is my creative outlet and I try to write every single day. Does that count in your creative world? I used to make all sorts of creative things–especially when the kids were little. I know you will have a huge following on this project. Thanks for sharing.
It definitely counts 🙂 I do a lot of writing myself.
Looks interesting, Linda! I am doing tons of other things at the moment and will be focusing on that, but who knows in the future…
I definitely think that all of us could ouse being more creative and if we let that creativity out we’d for sure be much happier. It’s great that you are bringing awareness on this with your challenge!
Maybe next time Delia 🙂 I’m planning to run it twice a year.
Hi Linda –
I’m so excited you are getting this challenge up and running! Keep up the awesome, creative work! You are awesome!
Lisa
Thank you Lisa 🙂 I’ve got a surprise coming up as well.
Hello Linda,
I signed up a few days ago, and I’m excited for the challenge. I never thought of myself as creative, mainly because I’ve never tried to be creative. I wish I had taken art classes in school, because I think it would have helped me open up. I look forward to learning how to be more creative.
Keri
Thanks for joining us 🙂 This will be fun
