Many people, at least my fellow witches, have asked me what my Galdrabók (Book of Shadows) looks like. So I thought I’d show it off. I designed everything (frame, leather pattern and graphics) and built the frame myself. A friend in Denmark did the leather and I bound it all by hand, sewing each stack of 4 folded papers to the next. It was printed on a colour laser printer.

It isn’t light reading. There are about 1400 A4 pages, and the thing weighs in at about 12 lbs/6kg.

I haven’t done much work on the physical book in the last couple of years since I’ve saved almost everything on my server. What’s here is what’s in it now. But I plan to do something about that. I’ve got lots of room for additions.

The setup in the pictures isn’t my altar or anything. It was just a mockup arrangement I did when I took the pictures. You’ll get to see my altar when it’s finished. So now you know what my Galdrabók looks like and how it was created 🙂
