Low growing, evergreen bush with fish shell like leaves and lumps of light pink flowers.
The flower tops are astringent, diuretic, antiseptic and act tranquilizing. They're used in treating kidney and urinary tract infections and as a general strengthening agent. A heather bath eases rheumatic pain.
