Using your intuition as an entrepreneur

Us women have a unique gift that often gets dampened because the model for business is still very masculine. A lot of business advice and coaching is still based on the masculine way of doing things. There’s nothing wrong with being a man, but some things just don’t work or feel right for us women. If we do business that way, we end up stuck or unfulfilled.

One of your strengths as a woman is your intuition. Using it to your advantage in your business will make running a business feel a lot better and it will be a lot easier to get where you want to go. You can use it for all kinds of decisions:

Who to work with
What to buy
What to invest in
What products or programs to create
What colors to use on your website
Who your ideal client is
What social media channels to be on
What to write about

Your intuition speaks to you in many different ways. I listed five of them on my creative blog on Monday, but there are many more. You know yourself best. Start exploring how it speaks to you. Learn how to strengthen your intuition to improve your success and satisfaction in your business. You can try out some of the intuitive tools too, like a pendulum, tarot, runes. There are so many to choose from. You can use a regular deck of playing cards and even dominoes.

One of my biggest interests is working with intuition, as you may have noticed from the readings I do. So have a cup of tea with me if you need some help using your intuition (it’s not just for amulets).

Blending teaching with coaching

A client asked if she should blend teaching with coaching in her business. I did a Tarot reading for her, and the outcome of that Tarot reading was this:

You need to be kind to yourself right now. Don’t take it hard if you do not have enough energy. No one is strong all the time. You might need to increase your spiritual connection.

It might help to let loose and just celebrate your successes, even the small ones. A positive experience brings some peace of mind. You might also have a dream that helps. There’s an experienced, energetic man in here somewhere, who either has a bad temper or doesn’t do very well as a leader.

I wouldn’t say the total outcome of a blend looks great, at least not at the moment. It looks like it might be painful. But you’re being led to a situation that is better for you. Trust yourself.

Herb of the week: Geranium

Prompt

Today’s prompt is to start making notes of when the seasons change where you live. It doesn’t happen on the same date every year. When does the first snow arrive? When does it start to melt? When do the first leaves appear? And so on. You can keep a special diary for it, or use your regular journal if you have one.

We had the first snow on Friday, and it’s snowed off and on since then. We don’t have much snow. You can still see the grass through it. The first snow was two weeks later than last year, and a whole month later than the year before. So we have been waiting for it. What’s the season like where you are? I hope it’s not too extreme. I’ve seen a lot of storms happening, for example in Ireland.

New line of amulets

I’m working on the new line of amulets, as you may have heard since I’ve talked about it pretty much everywhere. It’s actually turned into two. One to support female entrepreneurs, where each amulet will be custom made, and one to support young girls with the wishes of their mothers. I’ll be setting up a page for the custom ones very soon, and add the ones for girls to the webshop. I’ll let you know when they’re available. For now, you can only get them via email.
