Have a lovely Imbolc (or Lammas/Lughnasadh if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere)!

Some call it Imbolc, some Imbolg, some say Candlemass and some Brigid’s Day. Regardless of the name you use for it, it’s the midpoint between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox, a cross-quarter celebration. It falls between the 2nd & 7th of February when calculated as the midpoint between the astronomical Winter Solstice and the astronomical Spring Equinox, in 2024 it falls on February 4th. But a lot of people celebrate on the 1st or the 2nd. So I’m posting this today, so everyone gets the greeting before their celebration.

If you celebrate this holiday, whenever you do and however you do it. Have a wonderful celebration.
If you do celebrate, I’d love to hear what you do for this day. Send me a message or leave a comment. If you want to, you can send me a message on social media instead.

Enjoy the returning light (if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere) and do something for YOU today, something to bring some more light into your life.
