I want to show you how little it takes to get ready for the October Creativity Challenge, in case you think it’ll take a lot of time and be hard work. Basically, all you need to do is click to sign up and you’re ready. But if you’re one who likes to think ahead and plan a little then I might suggest the following:

  1. Choose a designated spot for playing, where you can keep some supplies. So you don’t have to bring everything out and then put it away again when you’re done.
  2. If you have enough space, make sure you have everything creative you need in your designated area. All tools and materials you need to follow the prompts in the challenge are things you most likely already have in your home. The few other things you need are objects you can find in Nature. I’ll send you a list of supplies, so you can make sure you have what you need in advance.
  3. Clear out about 20 minutes every day, to make sure you have time to play. I made the prompts so you wouldn’t have to set aside a lot of time because the challenge is meant to be fun and easy, not to make you stressed out or tired.

You don’t even have to follow all the prompts if you don’t want to. You can choose to work on a different project on any given day, or over a couple of days. Should you fall behind, there’s no pressure to catch up. Just start back up where you re-enter.

Being creative is so important for your long-term well-being, so I hope you’ll take this opportunity and join me in the October Creativity Challenge. If you’re still hesitant, I have something that will help you get ready. You can read more about it here.

Wonderful Linda! I love being creative and one of my very favorite things to do is creating my inspirational quotation images. This week I’m working on updating and rebranding by books in preparation for the holiday push beginning next month. Love this time of year!

Thanks Marquita 🙂 I love creating things like those too. I did a series of 300 sassy sayings on the blog a couple of years ago. Those were fun to do.
