November can be a strange time in business. It’s an in-between month where you’re in transition, either winding down or gearing up. This is a great time to have a wrap-up reading for the year, for how you want to end the year. Or a planning reading for what you want out of the coming year.

I did something similar for a female entrepreneur today. She asked if she should put a lot of energy into trying to get business during November and December because they’re slow, or if it’s better for her to focus on the next year.

Some of the things I told her were that this is a time where you need to rest and take care of yourself, gathering strength to be able to enjoy the holiday season. You need to preserve the balance, even in everyday things like food, sleep etc. If you exhaust yourself at this time, you can end up feeling depleted afterwards and spending January recuperating. Having passive income for these months, or setting up marketing messages in advance would be a good idea. So you can have more time to take care of yourself and your family.

You’re very busy and at times you struggle to manage your activities and commitments. The stress may be getting to you and you are becoming easily overwhelmed by your responsibilities. Become more organized and more planned in your approach. You may need to bring a little more structure to your day-to-day affairs and cut down on tasks in order to focus on the most important. Lighten the load a bit, delegate and remove some of it.

If you have some of these concerns, I’d be happy to do a reading for you.

The holidays are a busy time but I feel that everyone’s clamouring for extra business and it is that much harder for my own advertising to get heard/seen. So I just do my usual stuff, be there for people who enquire, but otherwise like you say, preserve my strength and ensure I enjoy my own holiday season as well 🙂

Sounds like a plan 🙂 Some people seem to be absolutely desperate during the holidays. People don’t take as much notice to regular marketing during that time, so I don’t know why they make themselves work so hard.
