My ninety-sixth symbol is the Inukshuk, an Inuit rock sculpture found throughout the polar region. They’re monuments made from rough stones and built to resemble humans. Inukshuks appear in different forms for a variety of purposes: navigation, direction, marking a memorial for a loved one or marking migration routes or fishing spots. The original purpose was for communication and survival and they traditionally mean “Someone was here” or “You’re on the right path”.
