The Brook Horse is a creature from Swedish folklore. It’s actually not a nice horse, even though it’s a beautiful, large, white horse. It’s said to lure people into the water to drown them. Like the Näcken with his violin. If you’ve mounted it, you can’t get off unless you throw a piece of iron between it and the edge of the water. It mostly targeted children, but it’s also been said to lure young men and women, and it can make its back as long as it needs to be to make room for more victims. It’s also said to be part of the livestock of the Elves, but that may be caused by confusion since they were said to have white horses and cows. The painting was made in acrylics on Vinyl, as the others in the folklore series.
