Shielding

Shielding is a method used to keep negative or unwanted energies generated by others away from you. Everyone generates different energies. I’m sure that at one time or another, all of us has had the experience of having contact with people that left us feeling drained, tired, frustrated, stressed out, depressed etc. This is caused by absorbing the unwanted energies of others. It’s a very unpleasant experience, and long-term effects of absorbing these energies, leaves one feeling more and more drained. As this leaves you in a weakened state, it can also leave you more susceptible to its effects.This is an effective and easy to use guide on how to erect your own shield.

Method 1

First and foremost, you need to ground yourself. Once you’re well grounded, cup your hands in front of you, and visualize a line of sparks traveling up through your legs, through your hands, and collecting between your palms. (You may feel static or tingling at this point.)

Concentrate on this ‘ball’ until it you see it glow in a color that fits your intention, and you can no longer hold it. (I would watch out for reds and oranges; these colors attract rather than repel.)

Let it go; see it glow and hover in front of you. Next, visualize this ball as the center of your protection (or the protection of someone else). Start visualizing it looking like a soccer ball, with all the pentagon shaped sections. These are your ‘mirrors’, that which will reflect and deflect any negativity coming your way.

See the sections separate from the ball, and surround you at whatever distance you choose. Walk around if you like, and inspect each mirror. These shields will stay planted indefinitely. You may need to perform another inspection, from time to time, and ‘feed’ any one with energy if it appears to be getting weak.

You can do this at any time. There may come a point when you hear a faint ‘pinging’ sound coming from the shields here and there. This is merely something you don’t want near you literally bouncing off a mirror. You’ll get used to it, or you can tune it out; your choice. For those able to hear it, it’s a very comforting little sound.

Method 2

Breathe in through your nose for the count of four, hold for four, breathe out for the count of four. This centers and grounds you and helps you concentrate.

Light a candle, in a color you feel is best for getting rid of negative feelings. Concentrate on the flame, stare into it. Imagine the flame becoming a ball of light. When it ‘is’ a ball of light, imagine the ball of light becoming a circle, a large and growing ball that you pour all your negativity into.

The ball hovers, and when you feel you have poured all the negativity that has built up from other people into this ball, imagine the ball breaking away from the flame, hovering in the room. Then it begins to move. It moves away from you and the candle flame, the ball floats out the window, floats into the gutter, rolling, rolling, and down the drain the ball goes, to be washed away.

Breathe again, in through your nose, out through your mouth for the count of four, hold for four and out for the count of four, four times. Stare into the flame and imagine the flame becoming a circle again, and then a ball.

This ball is filling up, not from you, but from the higher power. As the ball shimmers, shining brightly, imagine it coming towards you, a bright, shining ball of love and light, come to fill you with power, courage, and self-love. Allow the ball to diffuse into your body as you continue to stare into the candle flame.

When you feel like you’ve absorbed the ball, and it’s warmed all of you, from your fingers to your toes, close your eyes, thank the higher power.g your magic mirror catsuit, which keeps all negativity at bay, which gives you power that radiates out, that helps you to be strong as the mirror suit reflects back all negativity.

This suit is great for all occasions and can be worn in supermarkets, at airports, on crowded streets, at work, when walking home alone.

Method 3

Here is a quick shield spell to be used whenever you feel other people’s negativity coming at you.

Breathe deeply. In through your nose and out through your mouth. Breathe in for the count of four, hold for four, out for four.

Do this four times. It helps to ground us and aids in our concentration.

Ask the Goddess to assist as you put on your mirror catsuit which will assist in protecting you this day.

Close your eyes and imagine you are putting on a catsuit, a warm, comforting, catsuit that is covered in tiny mirrors. If you can ‘act it out’ even better. Imagine each leg going into the suit, imagine you are pulling it up and putting an arm into each sleeve. It’s a perfect fit.

Imagine zipping it up, all the way up to your neck. Then imagine you take a light fabric, like nothing you have seen before, that feels like silk but is transparent. It is your magic hood and although silky and transparent, once it touches your skin it shimmers, like a mirror, at anyone who stares at this magic fabric with unkind intention.

The hood covers your head and face and the silky feel is comforting.

Standing up, spread your arms and flex your body a bit, imagining the suit is comfortable and you are now like superman, wearing your magic mirror cat suit, which keeps all negativity at bay, which gives you power that radiates out, that helps you to be strong as the mirror suit reflects back all negativity.
